The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. 14 There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the LORD listened to a man. Surely the LORD was fighting for Israel!

We have officially moved into our new house church in Westminster, CA! Feel free to stop by and join us for dinner any day of the week! We are having dinner together almost every night. One week Shaun and Josh cook, the following week Joe and Addison make dinner, and the third cooking team is Sammanim and Minister John. Just let us know if you plan to come by emailing us or calling. We will be having Sunday services at 10am and we usually have sports afterwards. Around 3pm you can join us for soccer or volleyball if you want to participate.

We are currently exploring Heaven & Hell written in 1758 by Emanuel Swedenborg, a Swedish scientist, philosopher, and theologian. Swedenborg had a prolific career as an inventor and scientist. At the age of fifty-six he entered into a spiritual phase in which he experienced dreams and visions. This culminated in a spiritual awakening, where he claimed he was appointed by the Lord to write a heavenly doctrine to reform Christianity. He claimed that the Lord had opened his eyes, so that from then on he could freely visit heaven and hell, and talk with angels, demons, and other spirits. For the remaining 28 years of his life, he wrote and published 18 theological works, of which the best known was Heaven and Hell and several unpublished theological works.
